PROTECTING OUR SKIES

OUR MISSION

Continuing the work of Plane Justice to fight the proposed changes to Route 4 to retain the existing, legacy route

01

INFORMING RESIDENTS

We provide the community with transparent data and expert analysis regarding proposed flight path changes, ensuring every resident understands the immediate impact on our local environment and legacy routes.

Whilst we encourage everyone to review the information provided, we also strongly suggest you talk to those who lived through the last temporary change to the flight path and can tell you what the real impact was. It was far greater than the what is implied by the tables and noise predictor.

02

ADVOCATING LEGACY

We fight to protect established flight paths that have served our region for decades. We actively lobby aviation authorities to reject disruptive new trajectories, such as option D, that will mean 1,000's of homes are newly overflown, causing increased noise, impacting lives and reducing property values.

We advocate in favour of maintaining legacy routes. In line with government guidelines. therefore we urge you to REJECT OPTION D and vote for OPTION A.

People made conscious decision to live where they are based on current flight paths. Changing it is simply unfair!

03

Helping with your response to the consultation

Should you wish to retain the current route we will support you with guidance as to how best to respond to the consultation process.

In the event that Gatwick continues to recommend Option D for route 4 then we will mount a legal challenge given this option is in direct contradiction to the Department of Transport guidance to the CAA and. several of the core design principles laid out by Gatwick themselves in their own consultation documentation.

Who will be effected by Option D?

-  Crawley

-  Cudworth

-  Henfold

-  Horley

-  Nalderswood

-  Newdigate

-  Norwood Hill

-  Outwood

-  Parkgate

-  Salfords

-  Sidlow

-  Smallfield

-  South Godstone

-  Westvale

If you live in any of these areas it is important you review the impact of the route options on you.  Use the Gatwick site.
